Tongue Twisters

I needed to revisit phonics with my Year 7 classes, as they had lost confidence in reading aloud and pronouncing new words. Our German course book Stimmt by uses tongue twisters, so I thought I would use those. A quick Internet search found me enough tongue twisters so that the students could have one per small group. I then told the groups they had ten minutes to work out how to pronounce the tongue twister and present it to the class. Some groups just read it out, but others did dance routines and different voices. A very easy and successful lesson to rebuild confidence.
