Human Bingo
This is a re-brand of an idea that I have been using for years for speaking activities, namely “Find a person who…” Concept is simple: students have a grid with a series of statements. They must ask questions to find a person in the class to whom each statement applies. They cannot use the same person twice. Calling this “Human Bingo” automatically makes it seem more a game than a speaking exercise and adds an element of competition (who will get Bingo first?). My human bingo grid for Year 7 German is here Menschliches Lotto It would be easy to produce several slightly different versions for greater interest or differentiation.
