Let’s make music!

Having trained as a teacher at about the same time as “Hallo aus Berlin” was made, I have always had a soft spot for it and am loath to stop using it.  I get students to adapt the song “Was ist dein Lieblingsfach?” to the topic that they are doing, for example Lieblingssport or Lieblingsessen.  It makes them consider the number of syllables in a word, as the new version has to scan, as well as thinking about intonation of words.  I gave my class a  gapped sheet to fill in.
