Having your cake and eating it

This lovely pack from Macmillan Cancer Support arrived today, reminding me that, for the past five years, my department has run an international cake sale.  Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event is usually near the date of European Day of Languages so it sits nicely within our Languages Week.   I have some very keen bakers in my team who have risen to the challenge of producing something on an international theme! We set up a table in the staffroom with all the cakes, staff enjoy the cakes, put money in and raise money for Macmillan.
