Storyboard

I read an interesting article in Teach Secondary magazine by Alison Davies which reminded me of the usefulness of storyboards.  These can be used to demonstrate comprehension of a story and give students the opportunity to express the story in simpler language.  Alison Davies also suggests using a storyboard to plot an alternative ending to a story, or different consequences of a character’s choices.  There are many storyboard templates which can be downloaded such as this storyboard template.
